A Traceless Directing Group for CH Borylation
Functional Group Tolerant Nickel-Catalyzed Cross-Coupling Jun 19, 2013 Traceless directing groups in radical cascades: from Dr. Alabugin and his team have developed a traceless directing group in a radical cascade. The chemo- and regioselectivity of the initial attack in skipped oligoalkynes is controlled by a propargyl alkoxy moiety. Radical translocations lead to the boomerang return of radical center to … A Domino Oxidation/Arylation/Protodecarboxylation Reaction Feb 04, 2016
Abstract Picolinamide has first been employed as a traceless directing group for the cobalt-catalyzed oxidative annulation of benzylamides with alkynes to synthesize isoquinolines through C–H/N–H bonds activation. Oxygen is used as a terminal oxidant. This protocol exhibits good functional group tolerance and excellent regioselectivity.
