PC connected directly to Comcast gateway I get approx 18 down and 5 up (w/ PowerBoost) PC connect to E4200 then Comcast gateway and I get a solid 9.45 down and 5 up . It's been very stable and the e4200 is still running great. Note that the newer e4200 v2 is not supported (different chipset), so you'll need an e4200 v1 if you want to run DD-WRT. So I had this router for quite a while. I bought the EA2700 when I moved to the US, without doing much research. That was a mistake. I had a bunch of the famous WRT54GL routers before and was super happy with them, mainly due to the flexibility of installing an alternative OS on it, which unleashes a lot more power and functionality.
