Connecting a PS3 to my Dell monitor - Dell Community The problem I have is the only TV I have to connect it to is getting on a bit and is connected via the scart lead as it is not even close to HD ready. When I access the PS3 settings it will not let me select a resolution for the HDMI as the screen goes blank the stage before this and then defaults back to settings supported by the TV.
