May 24, 2016 · Thanks for all your advice. My problem just seems to be difficult to solve.I do not want to connect the iPhone to the internet but the internet to the extender. The reason is that my laptop cannot make contact to an iPhone hotspot but can easily make contact to a standard extender. So bringing the iPhone closer to the laptop does not help either.
